Man wins over RM20 million jackpot prize with RM2 bet

A lucky winner from Perak took home RM20,132,948 when he purchased a RM2 Lucky Pick ticket from Da Ma Cai outlet in Kampung Koh, Sitiawan with the winning combination of 2462+5762.

The man in his fifties recalled how he bought his winning ticket with Da Ma Cai representative when he went to Da Ma Cai headquarters to collect his winnings.

“There were two counters opened at the Da Ma Cai outlet that day. After I placed my bet and collect my winnings from previous draw at the first counter, I walked pass the second counter and saw a few lucky pick tickets displayed on the counter. Since I have some extra cash on hand, I bought a few more tickets, and one of the ticket was the winning ticket.”

He said that he found out that someone won the jackpot through social media.

“I followed Da Ma Cai Facebook page. On Tuesday morning while browsing through Facebook, I saw your (Da Ma Cai) post about someone from Sitiawan winning the jackpot. And I thought to myself, could it be me? So I took out my tickets and scan them with the dmcGO app. I could hardly believe my eye when I see the winning notification.”

The lucky winner said that he will use the money for investment and holiday.
