A dream had literally turn into reality for a man in his 70s when took home the Da Ma Cai 1+3D Jackpot of RM13,972,339, after he bet on a set of numbers he saw in his dream. The lucky winner from Negeri Sembilan recalled that he dreamt of driving along a road and saw a signboard with the numbers 7558 and 7707 in bright red colour.
“I know that the jackpot amount has already snowballed to over RM10 million, and I have a hunch that these numbers will bring me luck. After all red is “Ong”, so seeing these numbers in my dream is definitely a sign of good luck”, said the lucky winner.
The loyal Da Ma Cai customer said that he had been buying numbers for many years. Buying numbers kept him occupied during his free time, and discussion on jackpot numbers is a common topic among patrons at the coffee shop he often visits.
When asked how he would use his new found wealth, the man replied that he intend to spend the money in a more meaningful manner rather than just on holiday. “I am over 70-year old. I have already traveled to most of the countries I wanted to go. I have no mortgage or debts. All my sons and daughters do not need me to give them money, maybe I will just spoil my grandchildren a little more instead,” quipped the new multi-millionaire.
He quickly added, “The first thing to do is charity, to help out those really in need. Then I will allocate some money for my son’s business venture in a centre for children’s enrichment. I believe that will be money well spent.“
