Balakong Lucky Winner Wins RM2.42 Million from Da Ma Cai
Plans Better Care for Cancer-Recovered Mother
(Kuala Lumpur, 4 Feb) — As the Year of the Horse approaches, Da Ma Cai has already set off a lively and auspicious start to the new year. With a total of RM36.81 million in jackpots paid out, it not only ushers in a festive opening for the year ahead, but once again proves that good fortune can strike at any time.
Over the past month, strong participation from customers nationwide sparked a new wave of betting activity, pushing the Da Ma Cai 1+3D jackpot to more than RM36.66 million.
On the draw night of 17 January, 12 lucky winners rose to millionaire status, collectively sharing more than RM28.54 million from 1+3D Jackpot 1.
Jackpot 2 also paid out RM1.94 million, followed by another RM1.29 million payout from 1+3D Jackpot 1 on 25 January.
The winning streak continued when, on 28 January, two dmcGO app users jointly claimed a RM5.02 million 1+3D Jackpot 1 prize.
As of today, many winners have already come forward to collect their prizes. Among them was a lucky winner from Balakong, Selangor, who won RM2.42 million. In an interview, he said he never imagined such a life-changing moment would arrive before the New Year.
“I participated with a calm mindset and never expected it to be my turn. It was truly unexpected,” he said.
He shared that on the draw night, he checked the results at home using the dmcGO mobile application. At first, he thought he had read the numbers incorrectly and checked them several times.
“When I confirmed the win, I didn’t shout. I just sat there taking deep breaths. I thought I was dreaming until I called my family over to look at it together, only then did I realise it was real.”
On the day he collected the prize, the winner kept a low profile but could not hide his excitement. He revealed that the winning ticket was jointly purchased with his siblings. After several days of discussion, the family unanimously decided to use the prize money to provide better medical treatment and daily care for their mother, who had previously recovered from cancer but still requires long-term support.
He admitted that the winnings came at a crucial time, as household expenses are increasing with his children about to enter tertiary education, while his mother continues to need ongoing care following her cancer treatment.
“This money allows me to breathe a little easier and handle things step by step,” he said.
He added that he does not participate in every draw, but only joins in with a “let’s give it a try” mindset together with his family when the jackpot amount accumulates to a higher level.
