Da Ma Cai Holds Annual Community Aid Charity Programme

RM578,000 Donated to 42 Organisations

Melaka, 10 March — In celebration of the auspicious Year of the Horse, Da Ma Cai continues its long-standing tradition of giving back to society through its Annual Community Aid Charity Programme, bringing warmth and support to the community.

At the Southern Region grant presentation ceremony recently held at Rumah Sejahtera Bukit Baru, a total of RM578,000 was distributed to 42 beneficiary organisations from Johor, Malacca and Negeri Sembilan.

Speaking at the ceremony, Da Ma Cai Assistant General Manager of Number Forecast Operations, Chong Yoon Yew, said that Da Ma Cai has allocated RM2 million this year, benefiting 142 welfare organisations nationwide. The initiative transforms festive blessings into meaningful action by delivering care and warmth to communities across the country.

Chairperson of Rumah Sejahtera Bukit Baru, Datuk Kian Sit Har, expressed her gratitude to Da Ma Cai for its continuous support for underprivileged groups in society. She said the initiative is not only meaningful but also sets an admirable example for others to follow.

Since its launch in 1994, the program has contributed more than RM25 million to charitable organisations nationwide, demonstrating Da Ma Cai’s strong commitment to corporate social responsibility and its dedication to building a better future together with the community.

At the launch ceremony held at Ti-Ratana Welfare Society Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur, 57 organisations from Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Pahang received donations totaling RM812,000. Meanwhile, the Northern Region presentation ceremony was held at Rumah Sejahtera Jelapang in Perak, where RM610,000 was distributed to 43 organisations from Perak, Penang, Kedah and Perlis.
