Ho from Cameron Highlands won Grand Prize

Da Ma Cai 28th Anniversary Contest draw was conducted at Menglembu Da Ma Cai outlet. Ho from Cameron Highlands won the Grand Prize of RM5,000 while 10 others won Consolation Prize of RM500 each.

The draw conducted at Menglembu and 5 other locations concurrently. It was hosted by Yue Shen Chun, Da Ma Cai Perak Senior Manager and witnessed by Yap Seong Ling, Da Ma Cai Senior Manager from Kuala Lumpur headquarter. The draw was conducted by Da Ma Cai Menglembu’s agents Mr Hew and Mr Wong. Public who attended the draw were treated to a buffet lunch.

According to Yue, there were 4,606 entries received for the region. Participants only need to fill in the contest form and answer a simple question to enter the Contest.

Yap Seong Ling, Da Ma Cai Agency Management Senior Manager said that the Cash Rush Contest aims to thank customers for their support for 28 years. He revealed that the Cash Rush Contest Round 1 has attracted a participation of over 63,000 entries, where 66 lucky customers walked away with 6 Grand Prizes of RM5,000 cash each and 60 Consolation Prizes of RM500 each.

He stated that Da Ma Cai actively supports various charitable causes including in the areas of education. Following the acquisition of Pan Malaysian Pools (PMP) by Jana Pendidikan Malaysia Sdn Bhd (“JPM”), all of PMP’s net dividends that JPM receives will be donated to The Community Chest. With this structure, Da Ma Cai has effectively been transformed from a for-profit organization into a social business.

He said that the Menglembu outlet located at Pike Street was chosen to be the draw venue as the outlet has good sales performance.
